FAQ
Does the quality change?
No. Only the orientation flag in the file changes; no frame is re-encoded. It's instant, the file size stays the same, and any file size works.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, with no sign-in and no credits. Results only last until the page reloads, so download them first.
Do all players respect the new orientation?
Phones, browsers, common players and editors such as CapCut and Premiere all do; it's how phones store portrait videos. If an older app ignores it, use Video Aspect Ratio Converter to make a true portrait or landscape video.
Which formats are supported?
MP4, MOV and M4V. Convert other formats to MP4 first.
What if my phone video already has an orientation?
The rotation is added to it. A video marked 90° and rotated another 90° right ends up at 180°, and the task notes this.
