FAQ
Which borders are removed?
Solid (or nearly solid) black bars along the top, bottom or sides, as often seen in video screenshots, reposted images and scans.
Will dark areas inside the picture be cropped?
No. Only continuous black borders at the edges are removed. For very dark images, the boundary is detected conservatively.
What if an image has no black border?
It is returned unchanged.
Does it cost credits?

What format is the output?
It only crops, without resizing, and always saves as JPG. If the original is a PNG with transparency, the transparent areas become opaque.
